Write the best Birch Cliff Bell Tower story and WIN a NEW BIKE.
On this page, you’ll find cool stuff to engage the grey matter above your shoulders (we mean your brain) and, to officially kick off this web site, we are giving away a BRAND NEW BIKE to the kid who writes the best short story about the famous Birch Cliff Bell Tower. Your story only needs to be 200 words long and you’ll use the “Comments” field in the contact us email form to submit your entry.
You’ll need your parent’s permission to enter. Put your name in the field labeled “Your name”, and use your parent’s email address for the email field. We’ll need an email address to notify the winner, so you don’t need to include your phone number. In the box labeled “Comments”, where you’re going to type your submission, also be sure to include your parent’s first and last name, your address, and your age.
This contest is only open to residents of the Birch Cliff Village neighbourhood. Each email entry form will act as a ballot. The best short story will be chosen by our judges and on the date of the draw: Friday, June 25, at the Markets by the Bluffs Farmers’ Market (located on the Church of St. Nicholas Anglican grounds; 1512 Kingston Road, Scarborough), the winner will be announced and the NEW BIKE will be awarded at 5:00 p.m.
CONTEST RULES:
Entries must be completed and received on or by the closing date: June 23, 2010. Incomplete entries will be disqualified. We are not responsible for lost, misdirected or delayed entries. Entries received by telephone, fax, courier or personal delivery will not be accepted.

- The prize is not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded.
- Decisions of the contest judges are final – no substitutions will be available.
